MEET OUTSIDERS
We all have a calling in life. Ours is advocating for diversity and inclusivity in the outdoors because nature is for everyone, regardless of their background or identity. By embracing diversity we acknowledge that being outdoorsy is an intersectional experience. Individuals have multiple identities, such as race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic status, which can shape experiences and access to outdoor spaces. Recognizing this intersectionality helps us break down barriers and create a more inclusive
outdoor community.
